The Detroit Youth Action Plan (DYAP) is a living document that provides data and analysis of the state of youth (0-24), as well as identified impact areas that must be addressed should we want our city to be supportive, responsive and fruitful for our youth and their caregivers. Stronger youth means a strong future for all. The DYAP will serve as the main roadmap for the collective work of the Detroit4Youth coalition.
The Detroit Youth Action Plan Identified the following impact areas based on youth and community input and voice:
Equitable learning and development
Health and wellness
Intergenerational wealth and mobility
Culture and connection
Youth ecological systems allied
Safety and Access
